Where the Passion Begins

Christin and Richard Connell
Owners
We are the owners here at The Village. We wanted a safe place for our grandchildren to learn, grow and flourish into well rounded individuals, so we opened Little Village Learning Center. It takes a village to raise a child and that is what we have created here. We both have years of experience with our own children as well as grandchildren and feel that each child in our care is an extension of our family. Safety of our children is a number one priority and that is why all staff is first aid and CPR certified.

Desirae Adkins
Lead Teacher
Hello! My name is Desirae Adkins,
I’m 24 years old, married and have two beautiful kids. I have been in childcare for 7 years and have loved every minute out it!
I have a lot of experience with infants to 4yr olds. I’m CPR and First Aid certified.
In high school my career pathway was childhood development and I have recently decided to further my education and obtain my Child Development Associate. With that being said my goal for my future is to stay in the childcare setting. Id like to start with my CDA and then move up the ladder as a director and eventually own my own center.
What made me want to work with the little village is, it’s not just a job. We are a family, and here for each other. I love my kids that I work with in the 3-4 year old room.
